Tucci with Balsamic

Apparently Stanley Tucci is also a fan of Negronis. And he came out with a new variation that had a small amount of balsamic vinegar. I tried it a few days ago with admittedly expired balsamic and it worked well! So I bought a fancy-pants strawberry balsamic from My Goodness and made a fresh one today. This variation is pretty solid, a little bit more of a wine-vibe than a typical Negroni but also the vinegar is really minimal. Part of me wants to try it again with double the vinegar. Overall a win, would drunk again! One thing: don’t be like Tucci and shake your Negroni! Negronis must be stirred, not shaken.

Another note: this is my first post with the Starlino Rosso vermouth. It was recommended by Meg Moorhouse of Love & Victory (and Negroni superfan) and I have no regrets! Super delicious vermouth. I was able to find it on Wine Chateau.

2 oz gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth (recommend a sweeter one like Starlino Rosso or Carpano)
2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
