Rhubarb Party

I can’t really call this a Negroni in good faith, but it does have the bitter and sweet aspects, so I think it counts! Neither Sfumato nor Wigle Rhubarb Liqueur are individually great subs for either Campari or sweet vermouth, but combined the make a similar feel. Given that both spirits are rhubarb-forward, the rhubarb was still a nice afterthought and not overpowering. However, as you can see, it doesn’t look very nice since Sfumato looks like muddy water 😬. It was a fun combo that was definitely a nice flavor punch and I would recommend tryin this if you have all three in your liquor cabinet. The type of gin doesn’t matter too much, it is definitely an afterthought for this drink!

1 oz gin
1oz Wigle Rhubarb Liqueur
1 oz Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro
