Alpine Negroni

I asked my husband for some inspiration because my brain was running out of Negronis the other night. He pointed me toward the Génépy Des Alpes. Descriptions compare it to Chartreuse, but I find it oddly minty? But it really basically tastes like you are drinking the mountains. So I paired it up with a gin that tastes like pine trees for my Negroni. This worked out pretty well. The Génépy was the overwhelming flavor here, so if I try to make this again, I might mix it up with another spirit to tone it down.

1 oz Juniper-forward Gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz Génépy Des Alpes
